Welcome to my author website!

After a decade of coming to terms with the loss of my daughter Tiare, I was inspired to write about her life to preserve her memory. It started as “Tiare’s Story”, but the ever-present pain of her absence made it difficult to write about her life - especially her last summer. The chain of events that led her to take that final trip haunted me, as I balanced guilt and the responsibility of raising her brother and sister amid my grief. I wanted them to grow up without feeling overshadowed by her ghost.  So I put it aside.

In the beginning of 2024 with both kids grown up and living their own lives, I resumed writing her story. The result is a collection of my memories of her life as well as stories shared by her friends and family. Compiling these stories was challenging, yet rewarding and insightful. 

The book, “Her life through my eyes” is now available for pre-order through Amazon as an e-book with a paperback to follow on August 13th. As I consider the possibility of additional writing projects, I welcome your insights and feedback.
